Hetalia: Friendship is Madness

EDIT Axis Powers are being worked on now. Maybe certain other crossovers will be done but not as part of this picture!

So all the ALLIES are now done! I'm still debating what exactly to make the Axis. If there are any remaining characters that I can REALLY crossover, I'll do it. Otherwise, I'll just crossover the main characters XDDD

I'm still fighting off my artblock so this picture won't be as awesome as it should be ;___; *sob* But I just wanted to bring the idea out onto the playing field because it makes SOO much sense pffttt. XP And since My Little Pony is so in season right now

I've technically drawn out all the Allies (except Canada who will be making a special appearance... hopefully..) but the Axis Powers are being stubborn and as such, I have no idea when I'll finish this picture. I'll basically add each character as I go along, and the final picture will be one of those like, pictures with 8 different characters or something all fighting within small borders.

You can use the idea, but please don't steal credit ;_; XDDDD

Kiku Honda - Princess Luna

UGH YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I DESPERATELY WANTED TO CROSS JAPAN OVER WITH CELESTIA. UGH HE IS THE PLACE OF THE RISING SUN

But I thought Princess Celestia's personality didn't match up with Japan's personality that much (except for the fact that perhaps they're both a little bit of trolls XDDD) Well, who am I to talk, Princess Luna doesn't HAVE a personality roflrofl orz

BUT I REALLY liked the idea of BLACK! JAPAN being Nightmare Moon (I'll draw this later) so I stuck Japan with Princess Luna ~_~ I apologize for that.

Japan has kind of a sick face on because he's lamenting the fact that he's the "Origin of the Moon" and not the sun XDD It goes against his name! hahaha *shot*

Feliciano Vargas - Spike
I can imagine my choice for this crossover is controversial, and in many ways, Feliciano isn't like Spike and vice versa (for example, Italy's relationship with England is quite terrible, contrary to Twilight's and Spike's good relationship). However I wanted to make all 8 main characters of Hetalia correspond to 8 main or "major" characters in MLP so...I felt like Italy and Spike were the best thing I could settle for.

I focused on the fact that Spike always relays messages to Princess Celestia so I thought it'd be funny if Italy was always relaying messages to Germany to save him XDDDD DOITSU DOITSU! *shot* I'm not sure if Italy has a crush on France (it's really the other way around huh?) but hey, at least there's SOME kinda of half decent relationship there haha

Well, you can guess who's going to be Princess Celestia lol

5. Wang Yao - AppleJack
In some ways these two match, in some others they don't. I focus mainly on AppleJack's stubbornness, obsession with hardwork and money and her love for family. China is certainly stubborn and Chinese people are all about money XDDD (*shot* trust me, I know). Yao is also really big on family~
I also love how Applejack's color scheme is PRETTY much China's flag. XDDDDDD *shot* Red + yellow/Gold

4. Matthew Williams - Fluttershy
This crossover is very straightforward. Both of them are timid and soft-spoken to the point of pityfulness xDDD. But they're both Moe so who cares? They're also secretly yandere. XDD pfftttt
I wanted to draw the cutie mark on his right cheek...but I opted for his forehead cuz I couldn't help remembering Canada drawing a leaf on his own forehead (and of course America making him awesome by stamping an American flag) XDDDDD

3. Ivan Braginski - Pinkie Pie
Ok so I'm sure many many people thought Italy to be like Pinkie Pie....
First of all, I didn't do that crossover cuz I honestly didn't think it until someone brought it to my attention xD;;; Second of all, I wanted to keep the Allies and Axis Powers separate.... so basically I wanted the Allies to be paired up with the six main characters and the Axis Powers with other supporting characters orz

But after watching Episode 25: Party of One... I really don't think pairing up Russia with Pinkie Pie is THAT ludicrous. There is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with Pinkie Pie's mind... and she totally snapped under pressure (just like Russia!) LOLOLOLOL The fact that she has a sort of childish cruelty matches up with Ivan as well.

But lolllll Party with Vodkaaaaaa anyone~? 8DDD *killed*

3. Francis Bonnefoy - Rarity
Gosh I don't even have to explain this one do I? Both are all about fashion and "culture" and are a little stuck up. Both are very proud and concerned about appearances. Of course I don't think Rarity is a pervert XDD But well, that's probably just because of the show she originates from XP

For some reason I actually really enjoyed coloring in Francis.. though his lineart was probably the most horrendous of all of them Hahaha *shot*

2. Arthur Kirkland - Twilight Sparkle
Both are very reserved (well, Twilight was in the beginning) and not very keen on making friends. They're both intellectuals as well. I'm PRETTY sure England is damn Magical, so I think in this case, the powers match up very nicely hahaa xDD.

P.S. Do I support Rainbow Dash X Twilight Sparkle? Heck yes I do (the only duo I support more than this would be Rainbow Dash X Fluttershy ) xDD *shot*


1. Alfred F. Jones - Rainbow Dash

Both are kind of obnoxious but are full of awesome. Both love being in the sky as well. Not sure if Alfred is really loyal, butttttttt well, not everything fits perfectly I guess XP
I'd also like to point out that Rainbow Dash has this kind of "source of everything" feel to her in the show, and Alfred is TECHNICALLY the "leader" of the Allies so it all works! XDD
